Date taken from a Certificate of Record of Birth issued on 10 November 1941 by the Presiding Bishopric's Office stating that Edward Davis Hays, son of Dee Lora Hays and Stella Davis was born on 24 Mar 1913 and blessed on 1 Jun 1913 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The certificate further states that the blessing was first recorded in a SLC ward on J June 1913. The Certificate has a seal from the Presiding Bishopric's Office stamped into the document and the original document is in the possession of James E. Hays on 5 March 2009.
