Arms of Edward Hayes (son of Captain Edward Hayes) As described in the Visitation of Cheshire 1613

Arms: Argent, a chevron Gules between three dragon heads erect and erased Vert profiled. Or. as many Besants.

Ca. 1613

The Dragon stands for the defense of the treasury and bravery. A Besant is a gold coin.
Edward Hayes must have served the crown in the protection of treasure on British ships after his father died.
